Meet Jack and Chantelle!
Could you share a bit about your journey together, such as how long you've been a couple and the story of how you first met?
Jack and I first met during covid April 2020. We had been talking for a little while when one day I mentioned I made caramel slice, he responded that he loved caramel slice. I loved sharing my treats that I baked offered to drop some off. He agreed so I drove over to his house and dropped some off. For me I just saw a confident, attractive man who made me nervous. Those butterflies were there for months and sometimes I still get them. We have now been together for 4 years and we have two beautiful boys braison and coen and two fur babies Ollie and Stella. We have created our own little family that will last forever.
We'd love to hear details of your proposal. Where did you propose and how?
2nd of August jack had come home and told me he organised for his mother to have the babies while we had some time together. He said we were going to have a bunch at this place down Wollongong way.
3rd of August we are getting ready to drop the boys off and go for our brunch. We get to the imperial hotel enjoy a nice breakfast before jack suggested we go to a lookout for some photos. He drives down to this spot near the beach. We walk down the concrete ramp where I said I didn’t want to go on the sand with my new shoes. He told me to just go for a walk where as we turned a corner Jack had a beautiful set up with a sign saying ‘Chantelle will you marry me’. I was so shocked, words couldn’t form in my mouth. I cried with utter disbelief of how he managed to keep this a surprise. After he proposed out two beautiful boys came out with jacks mother and sister. I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal and even better he had organised our dear friend and photographer Kayla from Images by Kayla to capture this moment. It’s something I’ll never forget, I was truly one lucky girl!
The process of choosing an engagement ring is deeply symbolic. Could you elaborate on why you chose our Oval Solitaire Engagement Ring?
Jack had picked the oval solitaire ring because we went looking at rings and when trying on all the different types I much preferred the simple more classier look of it on my fingers. I am a very basic girl when it comes to jewellery and wanted something that was something I’d love to wear everyday.
Do you have plans to get married soon and if so, can you share any details?
We are hoping to get married within the next 3 years. As much as we love the sit down formal dinner weddings we are looking at something a little more cocktail vibes that’s we know everyone will enjoy.
What are you most excited for in your future as a couple?
We are obviously excited for the wedding but mainly just reaching other goals like our dream house and holidays for both the kids and us. Watching our boys grow will definitely be our most exciting journey ahead of us.
