For decades, the measure of a "good" wedding was scale: the guest list, the venue, the floral budget. But something has shifted. As the cost of living has climbed and couples have grown more intentional about how they spend their time and money, the idea of an intimate, unscripted ceremony has started to feel less like a fallback and more like a genuine aspiration.
A courthouse wedding strips away the performance and leaves only what matters - two people, the people they love most, and a moment they'll actually remember. No seating chart anxieties. No vendor timelines. Just the vows.
"This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever — it's a really special feeling."— DUA LIPA, BRITISH VOGUE
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner married at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall on the 31st of May - an intimate ceremony attended by a close circle of loved ones, with guests tossing confetti as the newlyweds slipped away in a black car.
Lipa's bridal look was nothing short of stunning: a Schiaparelli Couture suit dress - fitted white skirt, matching blazer, wide-brimmed hat, and gloves. Turner wore a custom navy double-breasted Ferragamo suit.

Long before Dua Lipa stepped into Old Marylebone Town Hall, the ring was already doing the talking. Callum Turner had it custom-made - consulting her sister and closest friends to get it exactly right. The result was something unmistakably her: a round-cut diamond of approximately two carats, set on a thick 18-carat yellow gold band, estimated at around 5mm wide. Where most engagement rings opt for a slender band to let the stone take centre stage, Dua's ring does the opposite.
"I'm obsessed with it," she told British Vogue. "It's so me."

Our custom engagement ring service is built around one idea: that the most meaningful ring is the one that feels completely, specifically yours. Whether you're drawn to a thick gold band like Dua's, an unconventional stone shape, a vintage-inspired setting, or something you can't quite articulate yet - we work with you (and if you like, the people who know you best) to design something that will make you say, without hesitation, it's so me. Get in touch to start the conversation.
